...good question.
I'll follow the thread 'cause I'm little interested too.
I have a Wa6 waiting to drive LCD2.

In the "amp recomendation for the LCD2" thread I read that the wa6 will be a good match, even better with some tube rolling.

Sorry that I do not put any experienced answer here.

skylab mentioned that leben drives the lcd-2 the best, followed by the meier concerto.

but from what i see, one is a tube amp and another is a ss. which is a better type of amp paired up with the lcd-2?

im considering the MAD Ear + HD2 and the WA6 which are on sale in the forum. people tell me that the MAD has very lush tubey sound while the WA6 sounds a little like a solid state for a tube amp. wondering which i should get, and if LUSH + LUSH = TOO LUSH?

that said, i have heard the lcd-2 with leben, and wow. :)

Yeah... it was either my question: I choose the wa6 because they said it has a clear sound not so much "tubish".
LCD2 and HD650 do not need other bass... only power and controlled bass.
But if you do not have any amp for now... what about to wait the Schiit Lyr that seems to be build for ortho?

Probably best choice.
...even if it was still a good choice with any of the amp you list.
Happy listening
