Yeah LoL, i am just glad we made it to a fresh new page cuz the last one was literally kicking the @ss of my crappy old lappy. Almost crashed it one time due to the heavy load of vids. LMAO

Exactly why I posted it, as you can see haven't had very positive impressions of him, especially from stuff between It Was Written and Street Disciple, that crap.

yea, that era was pretty bad, but his subsequent releases after that all had quite substantial reason other than contractual obligations
 
in HHiD, he really had quite a bit to prove in how hip-hop should be like
 
in Untitled aka ******(N word), is just concious rap probably due to that one black dude running for prez
 
in Distant Relative, quite the monumental collaboration with Damian Marley
 
and Life is Good was just so boss imo, if you followed his relationship with Kelis, this album was just so sweet to come out the way it did, it was a somewhat personal triumph to get out of his personal probs, can you believe that chick asked the judge for $55,000 for child support????

N***** was just weak, politics notwithstanding. Left thoroughly disgusted. And did I mention I didn't agree with the politics at all? But that's for another day.
 
Hip Hop is Dead - turning out to be a decent listen. Not quite as cerebral as I would like but what can you do.
 
Haven't heard Distant Relative, will have to catch up on that.
 
Life is Good - so sick (good way). Thought it was going to be terribad after hearing No Introduction (not a fan of lyrics about blowing money, crap like that), but the rest turned out to be quite solid.

Only worthwhile EH albums - Map, Remap for purely rap/old-school stuff. Swan Songs and Pieces are more chill and mainstream, Jisun collabs are pinnacles of what modern KPop should aim to be. Seriously, some of my favourite songs period. Everything else (apart from some good mixes in [e]) can go jump off a bridge.
