Ok so there is meant to be a production number labelled on the front of each box, mine did not have one when i received it. The 0000/6000 number.

Hmm, that's something you might really want to check with the seller/dealer too....not sure if really 6001 pieces sold already tho?

I doubt it tho....

If you want, you cld scratch the sticker (vsonic) to reveal 16 digit sec code and verify it's authenticity.....

hello, I listen to vocal uplifting trance and dance music mostly. Up till now I have used Koss PortaPro only. Will the vsd5 be good enough for my music tastes? I want something equal to the PortaPro atleast.

The vsd5 is a versatile all- arounder & is pretty good at everything thrown at it. Remember your going from on-ear to In-earphones. With a good fit & seal I think these will sound better than what you currently have. Just my two-cents

After 5 months of constant use, the left channel on my VSD5s went out. It took a month to burn them in. Since they were limited production, what are the best options for replacement?

Well, just contact the seller, get RMA and send it.....that's the only way.

Thanks for the response. I'm not going to waste time dealing with a foreign company on warranty issues. I'm looking for a great sounding IEM replacement.
Sound magic e50 or e80. Both fantastic phones & around 50/60 bucks each. I have the e80 and they are awesome.

Sure! but still it's only the shipping charges (use cheapest w/trk #) to them that you gonna pay and they will send a replacement pair.....And so why you want to waste the remaining 6 Months warranty?....

Seems like the VSD5 is out of stock at MP4nation and LMUE. Are they reaching the 6000 unit limit or is it just temporary? Both went out of stock at around the same time.

E80 might be good but E50 is not up for VSD5.

Makes sense.I'm going to contact them today. I kind of got addicted to the sound signature but I wish the vsonics were more durable.

You will have to spend more if you want some thing better than VSD5, Titan-1 can an option, its not an upgrade but still slightly better.

If they dont have VSD5 any more, they will give you another model/
