I have this GR07BE and I use it from iPhone 4 and its ok, but from integrated sound card its bleh.
I almost ordered the Sabre U2, but in a review I read that is a bad pairing. I need an USB DAC under 100USD. Could you advise something?
Maybe Musiland 01 Mini?

A lot of people in this thread have done well with the stock tips.

I came from the UETF10 and Fischer DBA, the sunrise xscape and never can find a perfect fit. Which is why I went the custom route couple years ago.. Just recently sold it due money issue.
I was thinking of trying foam tips or maybe even a triple flange

You need to have an external HP amp as well if you plan to add anexternal DAC. So you need to invest some $$again on top of your dac budget. Again the mini or external usb dac/amp can only be connected to ur PC/laptop not to your ipod touch to use the dac functionality but can be amped and your purpose is not solved.

Get a LOD cable from fiio (L3/L9) and a HP AMP from fiio. The cable will direct the DAC output bypassing builtin HP Amp thus to external amp. This is the recommended setup as you just cant bypass built-in dac of ipod touch. But you will hear the difference for sure compared to your current setup.

Fiio's E11 is a best candidate both sound and features.

Get the Audio Gd 11.32 or 15.32, $299 and $235 respectively. The sound of the 11.32 is brighter and more neutral, the sound of the 15.32 is warmer, although not by much. Both have a competent Amp with an excellent DAC on board you could use later should you wish to upgrade the amp.

Its a bit expensive for me now :), but thanks.

Do you (or anybody here) know the Stoner UD110?

Looks good but you will need an amp anyway, the Stoner UD110 is a standalone USB DAC. A good amp will give you far more sound value than a good DAC. Spend good money on cans, the same amount or less on the amp, less on the DAC and far far less on cables etc...I think that's the correct formula.

I bought a GR07BE more than a month ago, and I felt it was improving and was better, but now I feel it harsh again, I am surely after 150 hours of listening. Dont you feel it harsh/sibilance (a lot) with like Bon Jovi - Have a nice day for example? I use it from an iPhone4 with sony hybrid buds Beside this think its really nice, I like the details and the fast bass too, but this sibilance and harshness annoys me.

give them a neat full 300 hours of burn-in .........whats your eq settings on touch? Try flat.

For those confused about gr07 mkii and gr07 classic editions.....here's an FYI from LMUE.........

" Note: Due to a mistake by the manufactuer, the seal as well as the warranty card states that it is the GR07 Mk2. However, please be assured that the model you are receiving is the GR07 Classic."

Had my gr07 BEs for 7ish months now and all of a sudden the right nozzle is very loose. Was completely fine a couple days ago, but now it will move by just putting the IEM in my ear. Not sure how much this is affecting sound or seal as I'm using foams right now, but it is overall annoying the hell out of me. Any suggestions?

Find the position you like and super glue it. Haha. I don't change the position of mine at all so if this happened to mine I'd definitely just glue it.
