  Any users of the GR07 BE and the Fiio's X3?
Do you use the GAIN setting on low or high? What's the logic behind this?

I remembered reading somewhere that the "high" gain add more voltage, to achieve louder volume. But don't take my word for it because I didn't really remember the info well. Personally I use the low gain settings. What's your normal listening volume on the X3? Mine is around 15-20/60 on low gain.

The GR07s are far from dark, must be the synergy with the X3

I use my GR07BE on low gain and volume between 30 - 34.

I tried on high gain with 29 volume and the sound is more alive, haven't experience any background noise. But I will try again and comeback with more impressions

ppl are telling me -25 to -30 is fine but with gr07 i am at -12 to -18

Had mine for over a year and while they aren't quite as tight as they were when they were fresh out of the box, they are still very stable and don't swivel at all unless I really want them too.  It's just not a pain to do so anymore.

As long as you push the complys away from the nozzle, it sounds fine. It's been awhile since I've compared them tho. For me, all silicone either hurt or fall out.

Rockboxed my clip+ yesterday, can't understand how -30 is ok... too low for me.

I'm in love with these IEM's but I'm trying to get a better seal in my ears. I'm currently using the foam buds, are there anything similar from 3rd market that will provide a longer tip and a better seal/isolation/comfort?
