Thanks, how much of the EXT nozzle is forced into the ear canal though? The U12t has a longish nozzle but it's thin, so there's very little pressure from tips going into the ear. Thicker nozzles stretch out silicone tips and cause pressure to build up from the tips pushing/rubbing against the inside of the canal walls.Comparison between u12t and EXT

Honestly, I'm struggling with the size..Thanks, how much of the EXT nozzle is forced into the ear canal though? The u12t with symbio w (m) and also the Azla short light fits perfectly.
The EXT with conply 500 is OK. Azla seems to fit, but I can't push them to much into my ears.
May be my canals are too tight..

Yeah if only the red part goes into the canal than 07 tips may work to create an early seal without pushing too far into my ears. To be fair I thought EVO would be a no-go too but it somehow works with a shallow insert method. It's definitely something I'll have to try for myself though. CP500 (or any Spinfit for that matter) is definitely out, as are regular Sedna EarFits. Might have to drop a size on 07 or Spiral Dot too.The red is the part that’s covered by the tip, you’ll probably be fine if you can find a tip that works well for you. Tip rolling these isn’t too fun though. Reminds me of when I first got the Traillii with its very wide nozzle also.

Nothing beats the comfort and the seal of a CIEM.

If VE offered the EXT in CIEM I would have placed an order already.

I would say it's up to green part. I get a perfect fit like ciem with EXT.So the question is how much of that chonky nozzle has to twist into the ear canal like a CIEM, along with the tip? Just the red would probably be ok but leave the rest of the earpiece to dangle. Green or blue would be an issue for me.

Uhhh… that green part goes in your canal!?
I love having girthy ear holes my ears eat EXT with CP155s no problem. It’s easy going compared to the Z1R (which I can also wear all day ).

Not the full part. Maybe part of it.Uhhh… that green part goes in your canal!?

Wow, I must have extra tiny canals then if this is normal because my ears would combust if that green part got anywhere near my canal

Seems like u got deeper insert of EXT than meMan, I just have garbage ears.
Sorry for the close up ear pic
I’m going to try some larger tips and see if maybe getting a seal via “blocking” the canal will be better rather than insertion inside the canal
Seems like u got deeper insert of EXT than me
Yeah maybe this is what I shouldn't be doing, lol. I will find a solution
