Guys, I've decided to pick either of those two.
I currently have the following setup :

Desktop PC > Flac - > Focusrite Saffire pro 24DSP -> SPL Auditor -> Ultrasone pro 900

I plan on buying HD800 at the end of the month or so.
I wonder what would complement the SPL Auditor the most focusing on amplifing the HD800 and ofcourse giving me maneuvering when I decide to explain my headphones collection.

I've heard wonderful things on both amplifiers it just depends with what I would benefit and enjoy more. I have no experience with tube amps..

I currently run the Auditor using a balanced input from XLR to Saffire TRS.. I wonder if I should invest in an balanced amp or not though I don't know if I would notice a difference using a balanced headphones output... the DNA Sonett I've been offered is the balanced one.

Anyways to cut this story short, I need your advices!! :)

Thank you very much,

Gidi.

I'm addicted to upgrade (c)

Higher impedance cans will benefit with balance; about 300 and up. I don't like violectric because of no XLR output... perhaps unnecessary to worry about. But I would choose Violectric over DNA anyways.
