May I know how FD01 fares against Acoustune 1650/1670?
Hi, I've tried both.
I love the sound of FW-10000 that I went to try the FD-01, the sound of FW-10000 seems to be another level comparing to the FD-01.

In my opinion, for the Acoustune 1650CU/1670, i think both worth its value for the dynamic in-ear.
If your budget is there, I would go for the Acoustune.
However, I think the fitting of 1650/1670 is not as comfortable as both JVC.

Ps. There's still no UIEM that fit as good as Xelento/T8ie.

Could you explain why you feel FW10000 is on another level with FD01?

I think the soundstage of the FW10000 make it competable with many top headphones.
Also, its sound signature, the sweet sound of the singer, make it one of the best dynamic IEM.
Which makes me to be impressed with the FW10000.
For the FD01, the sound signature is kinda go the same way with the FW10000 but it does not standout as much as its big bro. Moreover, it doesn't impress me. I feel that the bass of FD01 standout too much (for me) and it's still far from competing with top headphones.
I also feel that the bass quality of Xelento/T8ie mk2 is better than the FD01

All in all, you have to sacrifice the 5 times amount of money of FD01 for the FW10000.

Hope you'd go try the FW10000 someday.
The sweet voice of the singer and its soundstage is really standout.

Okay, as I spend more time I got to admit despite the sound and fit been fine, the issue is that they stick out too much and I need to test whether this means I get the same wind noise as the EX-1000 due to their odd design.

When I write reviews, I have to be fair and take all points into consideration. Im not writing for myself, as when I buy a product I do it after wanting to do so. Chances of me hating it is very slim. What doesnt bother me might bother others.

Hi all, what aftermarket cable would you recommend for the fw10k? It certainly sounded different from the beginning, @ 150hrs burn-in and close to 300 ish.
