Yesterday evening's pure bliss while listening to VE Megatron and VE Zen LL has brought me to the conclusion that if someone asked me for a recommendation on a 'one and done' headfi setup at around $150 this would be my current rec.

Yes, CNT and DLC (300) are two drivers that are very close, CNT being ahead, DLC seems softer to me, both have good basses, rounded and deep, but not with more punch and texture than the ones I mentioned, the The problem for me with 300 DLC and CNT is that they are boring for my tastes... but both are very good.

The Kobe Audio Hades have a 130 Ohm Bery driver. I liked it. But my Dailybuds V3C Rhythm is made with a 300 Ohm CNT DD, and I like it more. The Bass has more punch, and the treble has more sparkle than the Hades.

Of course, each person has their personal tastes, and finds their favorite buds in this hobby. Personally, regarding the 300 ohm drivers mentioned, I take a step aside, because although they are good, they are not among the best in my book.

The tuning also influences (although the driver has its own technical characteristics that will NOT change), perhaps that modder has found a masterful tuning that I have not been able to achieve, which is very likely.

Can you imagine what that publication would be like????? It would be totally useless! hahahaha, but if I am able to buy all the things I need to rebuild my favorite buds and pegasus, before the end of the year I would like to open a post with my favorite gears, but it will be difficult

Not one bit funny mate... LOL!

Thankfully it is entirely too heavy for either one of them to pick up, let alone run off with! Though they were indeed very curious about the weight of the package when it was delivered as I found it already open on the kitchen counter with them both jabbering to one another like Jawas wondering if it was gold or not.
