So you haven't really listened to the Asura much at all?  I'm wondering, just how much of a "step-down" from the Zen is the Asura?

I have both. The asura captures a lot of the zen except that it sounds good out of portable players at 150 ohms vs 300 ohms

THat tells me nothing becaue I haven't listened to the Blox.  How much do they cost?  Are they as good a value as the Asura?

I find Asura more to have more energy than Zen. Zen is more refined. Asura is a little more on the wild side. Both are awesome. I find Asura perfect for electronic and metal, genres that benefit from a more energetic sound sig.

I'll post some pics of Asura later. The cable, strain relief, and y-splitter are different with Asura. Makes them look more high-tech.

Interesting.  Sounds like with my tastes being what they are, I may actually like the Asura more.

When will the Asura be on sale again back at the correct price?  Right now it is incorrectly listed on Ali Express as being 618 dollars!
