I'm fine with doing it in the evening, if that's okay with everybody. What time would work for you?

I messaged VanCitySound, and it sounds like he might have a nice place for us downtown.  Hopefully he can confirm soon if it's available.  Sounds like we have the start of a nice mini-meet!

Hi all, I have a large boardroom we can use downtown at Waterfront Centre (Waterfront skytrain station is in the basement of the building). The 7th should work as would the weekend after.  What times are we thinking?

Thanks PhaedraCorruption, if he can make it then it will probably have to be in the evening which is fine.  I'll have some eats and stuff brought in.  I look forward to checking out your M-Stage.

There is some really nice gear to be heard at this meet by the looks of things. Will bring the Stax's along as well with some antiseptic wipes so folks can hear what they sound like as well as my standard set up.

Just sold my iPod today so I won't have any sources to bring, perhaps someone could bring a decent CD player?

I can bring my Touch if you wanna listen off it.  I'll get the AV guys to set up a few laptops (heck, I guess we could network them all and run the same songs at different stations for real time comparisons).  Problem is I only have one dac (u-dac2).  I think the AV guys may have a decent Harmon CD player lying around too.  Maybe bring a memory stick/CD/DVD with some lossless files.  I think the laptops will probably be running WMP so I’ll try to make sure they have the right codecs installed for flac etc. but to be safe maybe bring wma or just wav.  Perhaps others will have different source ideas?
