The 5670 / 2C51 tubes have a standard size / set of dimensions ....

Thanks all clear now and I might get that Raytheon JAN JRP 5670 windmill, do you think it's gonna be better than the Tesla (you said some time ago on the Vali 3 thread it was really something)? I was looking to try that soundstage as I sometimes play fps (and other sp games) with my pc / audio setup as well.
What about a little extra brightness (the default Vali 2 ++ seems to miss a little bit)?
Sorry, this is the script color / style I was referring to:

Thanks mate but the 3- 4 Raytheon I found were different and I'll really go for the JAN JRP 5670 2C51 if I decide to buy this brand.
Another deal could be buying two GE Red 5 Star 5670 as I had received an 8% off offer and might get them for £60 then obviously I'll resell the second one.

@mystaiced would this one also go well for soundstage?

Supposedly I can find that adaptor on ebay.co.uk (otherwise I'll find it on aliexpress).

The 'windmill getter' Raytheons are excellent (be they 5670, 12AU7, 5814A...) ☑️
Yes they are!

OK you've succeeded, made up my mind and took advantage of an extra £5 discount so I just bought this morning the Raytheon JRP 5670 2C51 Windmill Getter from ebay.co.uk.
Cant wait to receive it maybe Wednesday :sunglasses:
Next step I'm thinking to (maybe) replace the Fiio K11 with a Topping D50 III, wanna get the maximum out of a micro stack setup.

Check out the Fiio K11 R2R if you can. It’s the best DAC I’ve found for its price range. Most bang for the buck!

I was just reading the Head Fi's reviews on it, just now lol.
I'm really tempted to grab that:

Consider that I've had some Hifiman gear lately like the EF400 and the EF500 (I kinda liked the ef400 most) but yeah, this K11 R2R should definitely be THE Bang for the buck!

Can't decide lol

Got to be silver, inexpensive and not too big. Good imaging and not just a flat stage would be a nice add.
Not to be argumentative, but depending on AI for sonic descriptions may not be totally productive.

This is what I have (got):

With the new Raytheon tube it was OK even with the small K11 from before but now it's even better.
Chosen the Yulong Aurora as dac (gonna use its A class balanced head amp as well), a great device that I had a couple of years ago (or less) now I've found it again at a great price in very good condition.
The sound is very very nice on the Aurora itself but the K712 Pro on tube is sometimes even better, more relaxing, forgiving and holographic :gs1000smile:
