On the V Moda site it says that the images should be black and white, but it looks like there is some pretty awesome shading on this image in particular.  Was the file just desaturated, but with unlimited gray scale?  Do I need to make the image completely black and white or is gray scale okay?  Does this only work on the black shields?  
 
Just wondering since this seems to be different than the specs stated on the site.  Looks awesome.

I sent VMODA these mock ups and just received delivery of the shields.  If anyone is doubting the level of complexity they are capable of, this should clear it up for them.  They turned out better than I could have expected.
