Can't a single button remote work fine with an iPhone? My skull candy ski helmet remote is single button and operates my iPhone just fine.
 
Single click = pause/play
Double click = skip forward
Triple click = skip backwards
Click and Hold activates Siri which lets you change album, playlist, call someone, etc.
 
Or was the three button remote the same thing but with volume buttons?

This is correct, most of the time. There are some headsets made specifically for Android that have a different button configuration, but most single button remotes work with iPhone.

The Shadow M-100s are $40 off on Amazon right now at $269!  The other models are $30 off at $279 also.  
Love my Matte Blacks with the standard pads, but maybe a backup in a different style would be nice too.

I was tempted to chancel my direct order from V-Moda. If someone plans on getting the engraved shields like I am, it ends up being slightly better to still get the headphones at full price directly since your skipping out on paying for shipping on the engraved shields.

The packaging differs in 2 ways... 1) The picture on the front. 2) The strap on the top.
 
That's it.
 
The inside of the case is also the red colour instead of orange.

I've got a 3 button cable from my M80s that I've never used. PM me if you're interested in buying I suppose. For economic sake, it'll probably have to be within Canada, but I can shoot you a shipping quote anyway if you're somewhere else.

Yeah, I was afraid the match of the two monochrome colours would clash in a bad way, but it turned out to be quite satisfying to the eyes...well, my eyes:)
