I bought a macbook air, I wanted to know what cord and where can I buy a good cord for usb out to my soon to be in my arms M-100s.

?? The M-100 takes 3.5mm...

MBA -> USB Cord with aux end -> to headphones?

Why on earth would you do anything other than headphones to MBA via 3.5mm cable that's included w/ the headphones?  Unless you're going into a DAC of some sort, USB isn't going to work.

No, the M-100 takes straight 3.5mm male to male cable, which TWO are included.  The MBA uses standard 3.5mm headphone jack, so there is no need to a USB cable, unless you are using DAC / AMP.

They are on my desk for approval, I need some big-ear volunteers!!!  I'll try them tonight myself first and find other test subjects tomorrow!

I love everything about the M-100 but would like more choices for cords. Is V-MODA coming out with longer or coiled cords? If not, are there 3rd-party longer cords I can use with the M-100?

Any 3.5mm male to male cable will work.

If I wasn't using a DAC, it wouldn't project out from usb for audio out right?
But if I was to have no DAC, wouldn't it send audio out anyway to headphones?
