I'm looking to get my first pair of decent headphones that break the $100 barrier. As I live in New Zealand, there is a lot of price inflation on most headphones (including the M50's, range of shure headphones etc,) however I have found a very good deal on a brand-new pair of vmoda crossfades.
I am definitely not a bass head, and I would prefer better sound quality over bass any day. Needless to say, I looked at a number of reviews of these headphones and a lot of people say the bass is overpowering, the lows are prominant and the mids/highs are recessed.
Is this true, and is there any way I can fix this problem?
I listen to mostly soft rock and alt rock.
Thanks.
