USB DAC for PC (Win 10) + Bluetooth w/ LDAC transmitter

Thanks, it looks good on paper, I just hope the lag isn't as high as the M6 while transmitting LDAC.
BTA30 supports more Bluetooth formats, including aptX ll, but if you're really concerned about lag, aptX ll is the better choice, as it currently has the least amount of latency.
However, we have tested that BTA30 works well when watching videos.

Thanks, I know Aptx LL offers lowest latency, but I want a better audio quality to watch my blurays. I just wonder when there will be a DAC which offers the same latency using LDAC that I get with my phone. I know my mobile is more powerful and expensive but I think audio companies should aim to achieve that, especially if a product is targeted to use it with your TV.
Anyways, I'll share my thoughts about the BTA 30 soon.

Dear all, thank you for your interest in M6 and BTA30.
In fact, the BTA30 is a more professional Bluetooth conversion device!
It was originally designed to be defined as a Bluetooth converter. Converting wired audio to HD Bluetooth audio transmission. In fact he is the first Bluetooth converter with so many features(i mean LDAC/AAC/aptX/aptX ll/aptX HD).
We can use LDAC when the BTA30 is in receive mode.
When the BTA30 is in transmit mode, it can output LDAC format Bluetooth signal through Optical and Coaxial input.
--There are many computers that have both Optical and Coaxial output, so it is possible for a computer to transmit LDAC via Optical and Coaxial output to the BTA30.
Perhaps the following table will help understand its function:
What is missing from BTA30 that is in the M6 which makes that possible to transmit LDAC with USB input?

What is missing from BTA30 that is in the M6 which makes that possible to transmit LDAC with USB input?

The BTA30 is powered by the CSR8675 for USB DAC and Bluetooth receive and transmit.
LDAC LIB can support I2S format only, such as transmit from DSP through S/PDIF interface . It's a pity that BTA30's USB DAC decoded and transmit by CSR8675 itself!

In fact, M6 also does not support Bluetooth transmission after decoding the USB DAC.

However, you mention a need that we may not have previously considered in the early stages of product planning, so thank you for your suggestion!
BTA30 is a product made at the suggestion of some consumers
As a transceiver, it now has many more features than other similar products, but it may not be able to meet the needs of all consumers, but we will continue to consider new products to improve or add some of the features and comments you mentioned.
Thanks again.

Thanks for the clarification.
But then this may be a bit misleading on your website (M6 player):

I am glad that I haven't order anything yet.
Fortunately I just figured out that my motherboard supports S/PDIF audio, but only has headers, so I need this:

And a single Toslink cable and good to go. :)
I will order these on 11.11 sale. :p

Does BTA30 support 990kbps LDAC transmission? How do I know if it's 990kbps or not?

BTA30 support 990kbps LDAC transmission。
BTA30 has an app called "FiiO control", if you select LDAC in transmit mode and connect it, there is an option of "LDAC streaming quality". If you select "Audio quality first", the audio quality will be guaranteed first, and the high bit rate (990kbps) output will be guaranteed.

Then it seems M6 does have one feature that BTA30 doesn't have.
Yes, you're right.
The M6 and BTA30 are different product categories and have very different design solutions.
Each product brings different features to the user
While the M6 is a player, the BTA30 started out as an attempt to address the pain points of using HD Bluetooth in more Bluetooth usage scenarios such as LDAC/aptX/aptX HD.
The BTA30 is such a great product that there's nothing like it on the market yet!

I use Amazon Music HD

I have a Hiby R6 Pro (that I am not using) I will expiriment with it as a USB connected LDAC transmitter but its V heavy and wont be convenient with my laptop on my lap

So I just ordered one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B086L2WNPG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I would rather LDAC but for size & weight / portability something transmitting AptX-HD that can sit in a USB port of my laptop might suit me better

My Mac laptop is already transmitting AptX - this will just add the "HD" @ 24 bit

I have a Sony NW-507 DAP that transmits LDAC but its screen is so small and it runs out of battery often - and perhaps its more fun to use a laptop for living song selection than fiddling with a tiny screen device? Or perhaps I will return to using the Hiby R6 Pro in the living room..?

Spoiled for choice - gadget addict!

Hi, I have the same usb dongle and works fine for me except for a few cuts in the transmission when I move around the house. I think Its a really good option if you are looking for portability. The biggest problem is that if you are using Windows 10 the system will only allow to stream in 16 bits. Apparently its a common problem in Windows 10 and it doesnt seems to get fixed anytime soon, so keep that in mind before you buy it.
