From support

Thanks for contacting us.
B10 is transmitting 16bit from Mac.
I know that the dongle is a cheap solution but I think thats false advertising from the company. If it's limited to 16bit from Windows and Mac, where are you supposed to get the 24bit that they said the product is capable of, ps4?

Im sending it back..

I am also sending back my Ifi Zen Blue

Waiting for a 6 foot USB cable.. So much for Bluetooth and my main system... Mission aborted!

I have a wireless Chromecast Audio network in the house (and we use it for 4 sets of multi room speakers) but sadly but its 96k SPDIF Optical out is buggy (a known issue for Chromecast) and cuts in and out. So its just an analog out cable feeding the amps. It's an option we use when we we want music everywhere.

Update. Skinny long usb cable crackles. (Doh! Of course it will) so I will stick with the ugly fat high end audio usb cable I have already.

There are three modes to choose in the app when the BTA30 is transmitting LDAC, Sound quality first, Connection Priority and Auto Adaptation. If you choose Sound quality priority, it should be transmitting LDAC at 990kbps.
Hi, how I can use the App on the BTA30? I using the Fiio control app. My Xiaomi MI 10 lite found the BTA30 but I can't connect it. It says it is paired but it won't connect.

Yes, i mean the FiiOcontrol app.
When BTA30 is power on, select RX or DAC mode, turn on Bluetooth and find "FiiO BTA30" on your mobile phone/TV/tablet/player, then you can connect it.
If you can find BTA30 but can't connect, you may be currently connected to multiple devices, or there may be other problems. You can press and hold the power and pairing keys to clear the pairing, which will restore the factory settings at the same time. You can then locate the device again and establish a connection.
Please note:
1, When BTA30 is power on, select RX or DAC mode, it can connect to your phone. At this point you can set the options in TX mode through the app, and these options will be saved.
2, When BTA30 is selected TX mode, it can not connect to your phone, because the phone is generally considered to be a transmitting or control device.

If you still have any questions, please let me know

Thanks for your reply, Im really enjoying the product so far. I was able to connect but only on RX mode, you cannot connect your phone while in TX. I don't know if the LDAC TX settings that I chose in the app while I was on RX will be saved and apply for the transmission.

Sorry for my mistake and I didn't explain it very clearly.I just added something to my last reply

Nice, that's what I thought. Problem solved then. Thank you for the quick customer service, appreciate it.

My windows 10 PC motherboard has spdif connection. If i connect the BTA30 to it, i will get LDAC to the Sony WH1000XM4's?
There seems to be a high demand for LDAC from windows 10. Is this answering that call?
I thought you needed a native LDAC source to transmit LDAC? Windows 10 doesnt have the codec support. So is it being converted to LDAC ?

Yes.BTA30 can do that.
If you connect the BTA30 with your PC's Spdif connector like optical or coaxial, and BTA30 in TX modle, BTA30 can transmit LDAC.

Hello, has anyone ever tried to use 2 BT headphones at the same time(for example to watch the same movie with someone). If yes, which USB bluetooth audio works fine for this? Raiyin, 1MII, Avantree DG 60, Fiio BTA30?

I feel like BTA30 is not worth the extra money because it can't transmit with LDAC when USB audio is used as source, and also it can not transmit to 2 headphones at once with LDAC as well regardless of source, so basically I am limited to aptX-HD, and for that I coud get 4 times cheaper Raiyin or 1Mii. I just need confirmation that it really works with 2 headphones at the same time. Thank you.

@FiiO Willson can I use BTA30 to stream music from my Android phone to PC with LDAC codec?
Which Android phone do you have? As a Bluetooth transmitter, many Android phones support the LDAC codec. Then all you need is an LDAC Bluetooth receiver for the PC. What type of audio input do you want to use on the PC?

I'm curious what music source you are playing on the phone that you cannot get directly on the PC. There may be better ways to achieve what you want.

I am using usb. And as for now I am using cheap bt receiver thaw was meant to be used with xbox controller. Everything is working correctly but it only supports SBC and I was curious if I can get something better. I was not sure if this PC app "Bluetooth Audio Receiver" will allow anything beyond SBC.

The BTA30 should work for you according to the product description, but this thread is about transmitters (not receiver).
I suggest that you look at the BTA30 thread and post your question there: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/fii...smitter,rca-optical-coaxial-interface.926876/

Hi just read all 11 pages, great thread and read I was desperately attempting to find a BT adapter with LDAC support and this popped up via google.

Can I just confirm some random things since am a new Sony XM5 owner.

No such product exist ie BT adapter for Windows 10/11 with LDAC support?

Easiest work around's are Fiio BTA30 if using a desktop/laptop PC with optical out or the Fiio M6?
