Upcoming DAP from xDuoo - the X10!

It will be impossible to compare if its tag will be around 150.

As x3 is 100 usd, no point in comparing with a higher priced counterpart.

I disagree, the price is relatively close when looking at budget DAPs. I'm writing a review in which I compared the X3 with a $700 DAP and
surprizingly the X3 does very well for itself (Rockboxed) compared to a unit 6 times it's price.

What I'm more interested in is did Xduoo fix the tone errors that were inherent in the X3, and the UI which on the X3 was pretty bad.

The pitch problem of X3 is no longer in x10, for sure.

I'm also interested in the UI. I hope there is a Rockbox version anyway.

When it is expected to be released?

No idea about the international release but from what I understand they are doing a limited run/tour in china and working out bugs and issues before releasing it internationally, which is not a bad idea as I would want a more complete DAP out of the box myself.

I was so close to pulling the trigger on the X3. Glad I waited a bit for something newer. Hope this will be a good player.

Yeah I have high hopes for it as I am looking for a compact player and I too was looking at the X3 at one point. Also I just realized your username is like the Deeznuts guy hahaha.

Pretty exciting, especially considering the price.  Even if it sounds exactly like the X3, I'd probably buy it just for the better screen.  While I could care less about cover art, and while I love the retro, minimalist, blue-on-black look of the X3's screen, it is impossible to see it in any amount of sunlight.  If Roman makes a Rockbox port for it, then I'd want an X10 for sure.

Actually, I do enjoy cover art.  But I like it in the flesh, on a vinyl sleeve or CD insert.  Seems like a waste of processor power to just be squinting at like 30x30 pixels.  What I want the new screen for is easier navigation!
