Unique Melody ME.1 Planar IEM

Currently burning in my loan unit of the ME1, it is not an airy and spacious planar like the iSine series, but sounds pretty darn good so far. Not sure which tips I prefer yet, silicone or foam. Foam makes them a little warm and thick sounding, and silicone maybe a tad lean but with much better sparkle. Time will tell :) but the fit is great too

If anyone lucky enough to own a current amplifiers can you guys please share your finding if you can, thanks in advance.

What is "a current amplifier"? Are you talking about an amp with high current output? How much would you consider high?

I was referring to the bakoon amplifier

Thanks - just has a look at their product page. Although they call it a current amp - they don't actually specify the current being produced. So kinda hard to comment on it. I know the iDSD I use can easily drive the K701, and that is a current hungry earphone. I'd be surprised if the ME.1 needs anywhere near what the K701 uses.

definitely respond to synergistic/complementary matches, it sounded great thru the zx2 (audio enhancement defeated) and at least tonality wise, i preferred it to the isine20 by a fair margin during a side by side audition.

Personally I prefer the Dipper. You may prefer the ME.1. That's the hard part - all I can comment on is my own preference. These are very linear though, quite open, remind em a lot of the ADEL U series IEMs - just with flatter mid-bass.
Yes we have some different taste/preference for example on A4 i like black back + blue or black nozzle but your favourite is black +pink nozzle , so according to my taste on A4 what you think which one is more suitable for me,
1- ME.1
2- Andromeda
3- Big Dipper
Thanks .

Based on the A4 filter choice - I'd have to say Andromeda.

Similar mid-range, but Grados have more mid-bass

Fedex just delivered mine!

I found them very comfortable, really like the cable seems to be well above average, not impressed with the era bends, the black heatshrink looks very cheap, I wonder why they didn't use a clear one.
