with the standard cable is not great, definitely needs some adjustment, even male voice is quite recessed.

well, I changed cable and I'm satisfied now, it's a big improvement increase definition, better bass and mid range, but if you really like bass (I prefer the mid -treble zone) than you have to play with the EQ.
