Really hope changes are minor. He was not very clear about soundstage. But sounded like imaging was improved.

While we await impression of Mest Indigo, made interesting discovery today: the Mest 2 has great synergy with the Kann Alpha. Enjoying some down time after a manic Monday.

I like MKII better with Kann Alpha than with DX220. But it's good with 220 as well. It's pretty good with the Plenue R2 as well. The R2 has plenty of power on tap but is maybe a bit limited in dynamics. And not just with MEST. I'm thinking it may be because the amplifier is integrated into the DAC chip (dual CS43131's) but that's just a guess.

best iem I have heard to date.first tried xylastic tip sounded like crap.changed to comply tip sounded great. changed to spinfit 500 tip still sounded great. xylastic tips are usually my go to tips. basec on its sound i preordered the indigo. did anyone have asimilar experience

I have had the exact opposite experience. Hated every tip I've tried with MEST except Xelastec which is perfect for me. Just goes to show we all hear these things differently and/or have different preferences. You just have to experiment and figure out what works for you.

I can only second this.
