You right on, Azla Xelastec doesn't work. I'm using this foam tip now.It is, but that’s only because I’m using foam ear tips with a deep insertion, just like how I wear the MEST.

@IEMusic thank you very much...
is bigger than volt, maybe I’d have problems with fitting but long nozzles looks good for deep insertion....
I’ll wait
This Penon Audio Cable makes the fit feel more natural. However, I don't see a listing for it on Penon-Official.
Orbit?
Turns out it wasn't even a Penon Audio branded cable. It looks almost like the Orbit but not quite.

The 3DT might end up being my favorite all-purpose IEM. I’m actually back to listening to it in stock configuration (no filters). The filters tame the peaks nicely, and don’t really cost detail or imaging, but somehow they skew overall tonality a bit. I do like boosting the sub bass a little with EQ though. It balances well with the stock tuning.
@Rockwell75 Have you received your 3DT yet?
Yes I did...I haven't had a chance to spend any real time with it yet so I'm holding off on impressions for the time being. I may try and track down a balanced cable first before I proceed.

Asian vs international release?
Did you here any differences?
Did you here any differences?
The light blue one is Hong Kong edition. I did not do AB test, but my friend did and said they sounded the same.Asian vs international release?
Did you here any differences?

Putting this out to this motley community. I’m flummoxed, have a possible answer, but want feedback....
3DT had a narrow upper register with Hiby R5 & Cayin N3pro. This, after ‘burn in’, both SE and balanced.
Picked up Shanling m6pro. 3DT sounds marvelous. No more treble congestion whatsoever. Listening 4.4 balanced.
Power to drive 3DT was my first idea. However, N3pro power specs are superior to m6pro, and R5 is basically equivalent.
How to account for this?
Could DACs alone be the answer? R5 uses ESS, I believe, and it is a budget dap. N3pro also uses AK but a few models older than m6pro. Recall, N3pro has nice tube options, too.
Is it fair to say that something in m6pro design/implementation makes for this, to me, startling improvement in sound?
And it’s not only 3DT sounds better, all my iems do. Thanks
