Hi all. I've just gotten my UM3X detachable cable 2 weeks ago, its now having the problem of one side louder than the other.
 
 
For my case, its the left that is louder than the right. I've tried replacing the cable and source, but its still the same. Also, I tried shaking the right driver, I could feel movements inside it, unlike the left side. It is bought from a non-authorized dealer, so any idea folks?

Try contacting Westone directly? They might be flexible with the warranty situation. Just don't mention where you bought it...

Well, I've tried sending them an email. And crap, I actually mentioned that I bought it from a non-authorized dealer, but I didn't mention the company name though.....

How long ago did you send the email? Anything after a week and I'd consider that email a lost cause,  but if you haven't got up to a week yet - play the waiting game. :/

I hope they take care of it soon. Westone has put up a note on their website regarding this issue.
