theres no material on the inner ring, so would i have to cut out my own piece for somewhere and sew it on?

There is a plastic lip on the inside that slides into the ridges on the hfi580/680/780

That's the main reason I don't have them right now. The placement of S logic is too damn finicky. If I own a headphone, I wanna wear them where they make sense, not some in some weird way to get them to sound proper. Last time I had them, it was incredibly annoying to get them to sound right, and not comfortable in that way.

Omg yes

I find the Pro 900 very comfy. I just don't like having to 'think' about placement. I wear the headphones a certain way and it's by instinct. If I have to worry about losing SQ due to S Logic... well, I rather avoid that issue altogether by not having them at all.

Totally Me GUSTA

Just here to say I'm expanding my bass can collection soon... sadly still no Pro 900 exactly for that stupid freaking placement "pro tip" because seeriosly as Mad has said... "If I have to worry about losing SQ due to S Logic... well, I rather avoid that issue altogether by not having them at all." But If any one wants to try a Xb700 or [Xb1000 and Dt 990 Pro 250ohm] I'd love to trade out with you dudes for a few days [should post this in the Trade Forum but don't want to atm] Still.. I'll try the Pro 900s one day... One day xD

Hey guys! I'm new to this sight (just joined a day or so ago). I am starting to learn about audio so as my first headphones I chose the ultrasone pro 750 which is amazing. I listen to a lot of electronica, rock, a little dubstep, and some classical. I was reading throught this thread and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the difference in bass is between the two? (More presence, kick, etc) And is that worth the extra 100 bills? Any help is much appreciated thanks!

I seem to be having a little trouble getting the right sound; the bass isn't harder than the DT770/80 and the sibilance is quite high. Is there a fit guide around for the S-Logic technology used in the PRO 900?

Take a look at the advanced tips found on the missing manual.
