You GD slackasses.

I can't believe I am starting this, either that or I am just a complete jackass and praising a headphone which sounds good to me me on a wide variety of recordings and just too dumb to know better.

Easy to drive, closed, sounds great for the price. I like 'em.

I ordered a pair of HFI-780 and a pair of Ultrasone Edition 9 Ear Pads, to replace my Ath-A900 and Beyer DT770 (2005ED). I'll let you guys know how it goes when i get them. I wonder if the Pads will make a difference?

I love my HFI-780s! Soooooo much bass, and it's tightly controlled. Sounds fantastic for rock/hip-hop, and it's great for gaming as well. They're pretty sensitive as far as hearing footsteps go!
