I was going to purchase another good IEM (I've tried Etymotics 4P/S, UMx3, and Shure SE530s) but the chance to get a pair of ALO-modded Ultrasone HFI-780s came up and I bought it, having heard good things about them.
Now I'm thinking, wait a minute: they're not much smaller than my desktop AKGs!
Has anyone used these phones in a portable setup? Do I need to get some kind of a pelican case to lug these around? I liked the small size of IEMs, I could put them in my laptop bag.
