Hi there, I was wondering how the Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 3 compare to the Soundmagic PL-50 IEMs.  If they are any good I might pick them up because I found some at a reasonable price, but if there is no clear advantage over the PL-50s I may not.  Thanks in advance.

are the 3's any good?  yes thiey are and i rather like them.  however if your asking if they are better than the PL-50 then the answer is no

yeah they are better imo. Easier to amp, aftermath cable support. Each man drinks his own poison, so make your decision yourself ultimately.

As you can see, he's not really talking about sound quality at all.
