This is great, I wished ua1 series should come with with detachable cable. And now it does. I am not so interested in the uas plus but the L3 is a pure silver cable and that is awesome.

Can this drive the HD 660s?

I knew few people that used HD6xx line on UA2 with balanced output to decent results.

How does the FPGA chip improve audio quality in the UA1s ?

FPGA helps with the digital processing on the UA1s, so it isn't any drastic change to the sound signature, but it has slightly better sound quality overall.

Is the L3 OTG? The iFi Gryphon needs OTG.

I don't think our L3 would be configured as the OTG adapters. But we tested it only with our models, can't provide any info on compatibility with iFi.

Oh, good! A warm oriented 9038q2m implementation in UA2 plus is really of my liking. I only hope it doesn't lack detail. It could be a great match for some of my brightest IEMs, and complementary to my FC3. Really tempted, it would be my first Shanling product.

@Shanling, could you tell how is it compared vs UA3? Both have really great DACs, and implement the same Ricore amp, so I don't have a clear picture, apart from the physical buttons in UA3.

UA3 is the overall better-sounding device in our opinion.

UA2 Plus is quite a bit smaller, which can be important if your priority would be to carry it around with your phone.
