you sure?  they look like they have holes/ports.  maybe its just aesthetic.

Edit: Oops, not Black TTPOD... Yeah, the IE800 are vented and TTPOD T1-E are not.

Lol, I could probably do it to mine if I end up buying a new pair in the future because of the buzzing noise(if it gets worse). But I am out of state for a few weeks, then have the semester starting, and I don't think I'm buying a new pair soon. Cause I have iems to try in the nearish future
My dad might have a drill bit small enough, but idk.

I own the ttpod-t1e and I love the sound. I am wondering how does the ttpod-t1e compare to the Fidue A83 or the DUNU DN-2000? Would this be a worth while upgrade?

I found some IEMs in the $100 range that outperformed the T1-E by a wide margin. I haven't tried the DN-2000 or the A83, but I have a feeling that the case would be the same. The T1-E are decent sounding for their price, but I won't say they punch above their weight or anything of the sorts.

  Thanks Dinerenblanc for the info.
Any suggestions of the IEMs in the $100 range that provide an improvement over the TTPODs?

Vsonic GR07 comes to mind. I really love them

  Hello Ira Delphic and ZapX629,

Which version of the GR07's are you talking about, the Bass Edition or the "normal" Mk2? Are the NAD Viso HP20's decent?
Damn, I thought the TTPODs were good... oh boy.

GR07 Classic. But there are a bunch of new IEM's coming out in that price range - so take your time!

Oh wow, I just picked up on luberconn statement about the TTPOD T2. Sonofagun....

So is the sound quality from the GR07s / AT IM70s that much "inferior" than the Dunu DN-2000 / Fidue A83?

I guess my ask is, there is a point of dimishing return with everything and that is true in IEMs. I would rather "buy once / cry once" a stellar pair of IEMs but not at the point where I need to sell a kidney. My fiscal cap is $300, but I don't need to spend that much all the better.
