Interesting. This is very good. I am not fond of the E500's E5c-style "over the ear" wire design.

Here we go again... (though this time, it's a lot more exp than the E4c/super.fi 5 Pro shootoff...)

Best,

Really?

Actually the Triple.Fi looks a little longer. Nice color, though.

Of note in the article:
  1. It has a slightly bigger bulge than the 5 pros to accomodate the third driver
  2. Uses the same high frequency driver as the UE-10 Pro
  3. Comes with attenuator
I agree, it looks pretty hot too!

Very beautiful.

Quite pricey though....

But honestly speaking, those don't look like something that UE would design... From the previous Super.Fi pictures that they've designed, they look more realistic compared to this one, and for one thing, this could just be a picture of an edited version of one of the Super.Fi's... Although that is something that I'm not hoping for.

Either way, these things like slick!

Is this the renamed verion of the Triple X (or was it XXX) thing that they had a naming contest for? If so, what is the suggested retail? What do they expect to be the street price? Not that I'll get one, I'm just curious.

From what I remember, this was supposed to be the universal fit version of the UE 10, which I already have. So I can't see the point of getting a Triple-Fi 10 (at least not for myself).

I love the sound of Super.Fi 5 but I find it doesn't have as good noise isolation as Sensaphonics or Ety or UM2. So I find it a bit annoying because I still can hear the surroundings. Especially when I'm going to the Gym, when there is a full blast aerobic class going on, I just have to turn up the volume on my iPod so high, that it could damage my ears.

That is one good-looking earphone. I was kind of hoping that it would have a lower profile like the E500 and UM2, but whatever. The color and design look great, and the removable UE cable is, as always, genius.

Too bad the name still sucks.

This is the reason why I returned my 5 Pros.
