I just bought new triple fi 10 by logitech. i was wondering is it still posible to remove the cable and add a custom one? i thought i read somewhere that it wasn't possible anymore.
 
I am a bit scared to just try to remove them, because i destroyed my superfi 5 pro this way.

In some cases, pulling on the cables has caused the cable socket mount to break away from the casing.

It's fine, just follow the instructions in the owners manual. IIRC, it says to gently wiggle the cable back and forth as you pull out. Get a null audio cable and don't look back. The stock cable is terrible.
