TRINITY - PHANTOM Series - New thread + WORLDS FIRST PUSH PULL HYBRID IEM!*

Oh well.

I finally got a response from Trinity after 3 months and a half, and they did decline my order cancellation request.
Obviously they didn't gave me any delivery date for my PM6.
They are total trash.
Well, like I wrote couple of hours earlier, they finally accepted my cancellation and gave me full refund for my PM6. I see no reason why they shouldn't do the same to you. They promised several weeks ago.
I would kindly ask again and remind them of their full refund promise. You could also call Bob or Jake to ask for the reason.

Hope you'll get your refund and can move on.

Cheers

I'm just Ok with the shift from SS to Zinc; But only because of some small weight savings. Think Aluminum would have been better. Both Aluminum and Zinc are more brittle than SS, but unless you drop on hard surface, or step on, it probably makes no difference. There is a lot of Cheap Chinese Stuff made out of Zinc Alloy; probably a lot of manufacturers there that can mold intricate shapes...

One of the original descriptions of the Master6 stated they were to be all aluminum shell, then it seemed to change to stainless, which would be harder to machine and heavier. Where was it stated that they would be made from Zinc now? On the website it still says Stainless Shells

Yes and no. What they write is standard and even in my company the lawyers told us to put it as it is better then nothing (but not necessarily enough). If their model was a kickstarter like, it means that a pre-order for X might result in Y or even nothing. With those statement they can justify some change or delay. They cannot hide behind it if they make shipment statement as they did. Furthermore, if they truly want to enforce it, they need to accept a full refund policy (laws goes two ways in allowing protection).
Well yeah, clearly that sort of statement they're putting on those pages only covers development/production timing changes within reason, an explicitly implicit way of creating a KS-like model that isn't quite KS (because they've been offering refunds, though I agree that it should absolutely be a full-on "you can request a refund at any time" sort of understanding from the beginning).

As I said, reporting the progress (ie, statement of products shipped) is an entirely different matter. Those website statements cover up until you say "these items have shipped". Because at that point, you're supposed to have crossed the "estimated shipping....." statement so you can no longer be excused by that. "Subject to changes" and "estimated shipping date...." no longer apply as protection once you declare the items to be shipped.

If they purchased through KS, that would explain why their cancellation request was refused. Was your order through the Trinity shop or the KS campaign?

According to his recent posts he ordered via IGG.

Since I preordered the PM6 through the Trin shop, I was able to cancel the order this monday.
I thought I could wait, but I was just sick of getting no info at all.
Maybe I'll get a 2018 PM6 on sale, if it's good (what I really hope for those who are still waiting)

To be fair to them (and I'm 100% sure this is the answer they'd give if they came back here to reply), they basically say that's their model on every IEM website page. Anything not released basically has the disclaimer of being a product subject to changes and that the shipping date displayed is only an estimate, implying potential delays and design changes. So they're actually covered in that sense and while they don't explicitly say it in as many words, all those elements imply such a model.

Of course, the reporting of progress is an entirely different matter; they dropped the ball on that one. Down some sort of cliff, chasm, or deep ravine if these past 3 months have been any indication. Can't really prove much misrepresentation of product yet (because we have no products in hand), but misrepresentation of product development/production status is definitely here in spades.

Here's to hoping they end that streak soon. I'd like to see them back to how they were a year ago: full of promise with exciting products on the horizon. And those honest updates; didn't matter if it was good news or bad news, but full transparency to the customers. This is what Trinity used to do better than most others. I want to see that Trinity Audio Engineering come back.

I totally agree to the "to be fair to them part" they do clearly state subject to changes/delivery and as i have stated before we all had to tick the box and agree to the terms and conditions.
Im not trying to take away peoples frustrations and do undersrand but i realy dont think bob or anyone at trinity want delays any more than we do .
I check this thread everyday to see if there's news on delivery of the hunter.
I already have my master and I'm more than pleased, fantastic iem unbelievable for the money. As I have said before probably one of the best bang for buck iems out there.
So I think the hunters and trinity iems in general are worth the wait and the hold ups and my patience , well so far anyway.
in short the sound quality/build and cost out way the delays for me.

Once again i do understand frustrations so please don't stone me. This is just the way I see it .

Bob stated this a while back in this thread as an update. They have not updated the site yet.

You could be right. I ordered through their shop.

So... I had an unidentified item in my PO box. I got my hopes up: It was an order that was lost from 2 months ago I forgot about... So I still don't have even the Master I ordered. I also decided to pay for tracked shipping for the hunters, as they chose to deliver only to billing address, which really makes me insecure about the whole receiving of my IEM's, considering there have been thefts from my mailbox. I really wish they'd just give us an idea of what's going on.

Meanwhile, when nobody can get a post from Bob here he is on FB giving KZ flak for copying off Campfire Audio shell. Worry about your own companies problems.
