TRINITY - PHANTOM Series - New thread + WORLDS FIRST PUSH PULL HYBRID IEM!*

yes, with a company called Sagaris :)

I beg to differ. Sagaris Acoustics is a company no one heard of, there is no information about them online and their Facebook page was deleted and had 3 Likes.
It sounds to me like a sub-brand by Trinity, unless someone can shed some light.
l think we need some clarity and facts. People buy into the hype and jump on the hype train without knowing much.
Just a few months ago Bob said crossovers are not worth it and they won't do crossovers, now it's all of a sudden the latest and greatest?

I mentioned the word new TOTL but I meant it as TOTL for the icarus series, not as a definite trinity TOTL. Maybe my post got a few of you confused, maybe not, if so i do apologise.

I still fully expect the hunter to be the very best sounding IEM of the big 3.

The icarus IV is just the best use of the big dynamic that they can come up with currently I imagine

Having said all that, whilst I don't necesarily suspect any deliberate foul play, it's only natural that a craftsman continues to improve at his craft.
Experimentation, new ideas, reconsidering previously rejected ideas
People and processes evolve.
However, I think it's highly likely that this year or early next year will see some kind of new IEM from Trinity that incorporates the best of what they've learned and developed thus far and blows all the others out of the water.

Anyway, that's my thoughts, for anyone who cares lol :D

Good points but when running a business that has active customers, I ran my own company/business for 19 years before joining the management team of a client, you have to think of your existing customer base first and foremost. Those are the people who on their backs got your company where it is today and when you shift priorities away from them when not even completed yet it sends a very resounding message which may not be perceived well.
A personal example I experienced, I supported a certain computing platform for years but as the times changed I shifted to a more lucrative, to me only, platform to support taking away resources available for some of my longstanding bread and butter clients. One took exception, dropped my company from their preferred vendors losing out on @75K a year in recurring income. Now a couple years later influx of H1B labor forced me to dilute billable rates and going back to the old established customers to augment the missing dollars they told me to take a flying leap. Lost those dollars and more in the long run. I see a possibly similar situation maybe occurring and with the word of mouth of Head Fi driving certain companies it could be a big loser for them. Maybe they should wait a few weeks let the PM6, Hunters and Air's get to market and then announce? Who knows, just saying because I did something similar as stated above and regret that decision to grab some quick cash and evolve my practice for my gain.

Im interested in the announcement/email that they have said we all will receive tomorrow.
again maybe just poor timing on the advertisement of another iem before announcement seeing as how blood is running hot for some .
Realy dont want to get into the debate on the happy not happy again but i do genuinely hope for all they get there product soon, i still stand by the master are a great iem and I'm still looking forward to my Hunter.

I have supported trinity all through this thread and have been quite happy to wait for my Hunter to be finished and shipped to me ( please this is my opinion and also this has been debated to death ).
I am just curious why ( this is not accusation because if someone can enlighten me i will gladly accept it) , that trinity have announced release and pre order of another £300 iem with from the posts crossovers.
My question is how in the brief description on there website this iem suddenly becomes the top of the range and not the hunter???? Because of a crossover?????
Like i said this is not accusation and if someone is more in the know then please explain.
Top of the Sagaris series. I think they still view the Phantom line as their absolute top; believe me, I can't find much logic in their model structure either, but that's what it looks like and how it better turn out.

I will praise or condemn a company's actions when appropriate, so regarding the last few pages, are you freaking serious? Is that count down missing a number? Like a 9 in front of the 6 on number of days? The way this is going, they don't seem to have learned yet about how to launch products. By my count, they've got 4 IEMs that have yet to reach ANYONE in any form (barring a single prototype) nor have they given any updates about those IEMs: Atlas-Delta, Icarus III, PM6, Hunter. And the Air had to be retooled after the severe issues after only a handful even received them. This is not the way you launch products. You only create more problems for yourself the way they're doing it right now.

I'll stick it out for my Hunter and of course I'm still waiting on my Air, but I'm not getting anything else from them until I at least see that they're massive backlog has been been resolved. Once they've actually gotten stuff to people, then we'll see if I consider getting anything again.

Add the Icarus DAP to your list as well.

From their site about the new sagaris ...
"Huge accessory package inc our standard case, 6.3mm adapter, huge selection of eartips (S/M/M/L silicone, double flange, S/M Memory foam,Kombi tips "

Great description while people getting their masters and vyrus, and about anybody else waiting for an IEM (except for the AIR) has been told the case and gone as accessory. Lie after lie.

This is a sponsor thread after all. You would think he will come here and shed some light since everyone here is still waiting for the PM6, Hunter, Atlas Delta and the Icarus III that were pushed to May. I believe most people gave them more than enough time to sort it out but as posted by @dullknives you can clearly see the pattern.
