I lost my original pair of silicone bi-flanges and now I'm looking for equivalent or better, but I can't find any places that sell the ones I had (except for the head-direct 15$ ones for 2 pairs...). What do you recommend for these?

You can get a Meelec fit kit with biflanges (M9, M11, or M11+ kits will do). Should run $5-10 plus shipping. They're a bit thicker than the stock PR1 Pro tips which may result in slightly more bass. There's also the M9 'balanced' grey tips that are a little softer than the tips included with the fit kits.

after looking through some options, i saw the sony hybrids. Seeing that they get the better seal and thicker inside, they would also be as bassy as the biflanges yet more comfortable right?

You will lose some of the soundstage with Hybrids but other than that they work fine. I've always preferred biflanges on the PR1 to preserve the sheer expanse it's capable of putting out.
