T2 plus received as a gift from a friend and they sound like a dead dog... Damn, I tried with a lot of tips and with a balanced cable and they still sound like a crap, I feel very disappointed tbh

Maybe there is unit variation because my set don't sing up to the reviews also.

Do you have any suggestions for an IEM with better isolation in the 50 €/$ area? Or at least below 100 €/$? It seems all the Tins have a poor isolation, at least my P1 isolates quite nothing.
Looking for something to wear in a noisy (but not super loud) factory hall.

Thanks!

EDIT: They need to have MMCX connectors, so I can use them with BT neckband.
It’s over €50, but for isolation, with a single DD, the ISN D02 provides great isolation when using foam ear tips.
Etymotics provide exceptional isolation, as @baskingshark mentioned, but that is with triple flange tips and deep insertion, which I don’t mind. The ER2XR would be my recommendation there. Unfortunately, the Tin IEMs don’t provide great isolation.

I wonder how much isolation the NiceHCK X49 would provide with either foam tips, or multiflange tips.

Tin P2, $300 on Drop: https://drop.com/buy/tin-hifi-p2-iem

Estimated to ship November 30th to...

Wow the Tin P2's price is dropping faster than a rock in the ocean.

IIRC I saw it at around $369 at launch, then $349 after some dangled early adopter discounts, then $339 on Aliexpress since sales didn't take off, now this $300. I wonder what it will cost on 11/11 and BF! The $369 pricing was really very ambitious to begin with, considering the tough competition of some well regarded stuff like the LZ A7 launching at the same period.

Thanks for your review!

Looks like this is one hypetrain that won't even leave the station!

Actually, I wouldn't call it a hypetrain actually, since a lot were put off by the high release price.

That’s really too bad. I just can‘t comprehend Tin’s thinking on this one.

This is just my opinion. Others may vary. :)

I also have a couple pre-release versions of the T1 Plus that are interesting. tuned totally differently. not sure what they'll take.

I'd tried a few things to see if I can tone down the upper treble but without luck. I'll try to play with it more when I have a chance.
