Does the wire have the 'split' style mmcx or solid?

If split style you can wedge them back open with a razor blade. If solid type, I would order a cable with the split style as they fit better.

Yes they are split, but so small and i need to try to do it in the light. I'm trying tiny screwdrivers but its damn hard.

The split I'm talking about is on the barrel of the connector. There is zero chance of a screwdriver (even tiny eyeglass ones) working to spread the barrel split. You'll need a razor blade, exacto knife or scalpel blade.

Not the split ring that snaps the connector on.
