Tidal Lossless Streaming

Are you just looking for the app to download?

http://tidal.com/us/download

It's no longer available there, so I'm currently making do with the web player. It's less than ideal however, as while the interface is actually very nice and responsive, the occasional crash I encounter takes down my entire Chrome browser (along with the my other tabs I'm working on). I was hoping someone who had the client could zip it up and upload it somewhere!

Running fine here on the Chrome browser.  Did you already check your tidal volume control (lower right of screen) and your system volume?

Yeah, I think that it's an issue with chrome on the mac.  Pretty much all audio doesn't work with chrome on my mac.  Latest chrome and a really new rMBP.  Only a couple months old.

I'm sure it's just some setting somewhere, but I can't find it for the life of me.

A known issue has to do with clashing flash player installations. If you have a stand alone flash player and the chrome plug in remove one of the two .

I'm looking for the PC version if anyone has it

I'm not sure why Tidal pulled the Windows version, but here's a copy (subject to being asked to remove it):

I just got it from someone else about 3 days ago and its so horrible I went back to using the Web player. That app looks like it was created on a windows vista machine.

Tidal support have been saying since the original release that they had plans to release a new desktop client that doesn't use Adobe Air. I hope they follow through as personally I'm not a fan of running a music app through a browser.

Is their browser app running in Flash?  If so, there really isn't too much difference between using it in the browser and in Air.

I like to have separate sound output devices for my browser/system sounds and my music. Using a browser interface to play music doesn't allow me to do that.  Also, I'm forever futzing with my browser, configuring, closing (crashing!) etc.
