If someone wants to volunteer their set to come through the lab, I'll measure them and send them off to you quickly.

You can have my set for testing.

This "cluster****" of a thread, like someone said, seems to be working out pretty well for something two days old ;)

(my fav woods: Redheart (I mean, just look at em'), Rosewood, Mahogany, Walnut, Maple). I was trying to make the doodle, but my computer is in german and is traducing stuff without asking me and I can't figure it out, but since someone else took the initiative of making a form...

Question smeggy... I know it depends on where the wood's purchased, but wouldn't a block generally be enough for a bazillion cups? (Like 30) 15 headphones or so? Or is there a slight creation of error?

Jw...

btw, been drooling at your creation for the last year or so. Hats off to ya Gary!

UPDATE:  FORM CREATED

Hello everyone.  Several posts ago, I mentioned that I was in the process of creating a form for the purpose of collecting information from everyone.  I'm am pleased to inform you that, in spite of some technical difficulties, the form has been created, and may be found here.  If you're still interested in the group buy, please fill out the form at your earliest possible convenience.  Once everyone has entered their info, we can see which three woods are most popular and proceed from there.

Best,

Brent

Radio_head,

Thanks for the thought.  I'm in at the moment, but it will ultimately come down to the woods chosen.  I'm not too picky though, so I'm sure it'll all work out =)

I might be interested depending on the final materials chosen.  How about rosewood like the examples featured here (scroll down to the guitars), or red cherry wood?  I particularly like the engaging/patterns patterns and rich color of the rosewood. . .
