Those are mine.
heh I wanted a carved or burned set and a screw on cable and pmed smeggy 3 times about it during different times but he ignored my questions.
while I sympathise with smeggy's circumstances, I'm really disappointed in the service level and what I percieve as a lack of respect for his customers (nfi when I can even expect my set). I'd just like to make it clear.
these better be the best sounding cans (even vs iems I bought)
Just came across this thread. Not very good comments on there about the TP. I will audition my pair when i get the chance and write a review if i can.

When my set is complete Smeggy is sending it to Tyll for testing.

The purpose of my purchase of the Thunderpants is to show off when I am walking around and all. I have LCD3 and SR009 for home/office use anyway. I hope it is better than my T5p which has a design I don't like to walk around with. I hope my Thunderpants won't have glue sticking out when I want to use it and show it off on the street / in the mall etc.
With all due respect, these things seem rather large for portable use, no? Do they really clamp that well for walking around? Also I'd be worried about scratching the wood, etc.
This is an area where I question if anything can top the Ed8s... they're quite small, look amazing (IMO), clamp hard/great isolation, fairly impervious to damage, and have decent fidelity when used straight out of a DAP. They are pricey though.
