Any recommendations on where to find tubes? I can't seem to find the website I bought mine from previously but I'm looking at Tubedepot now..

Other than eBay, look at tubemonger.com and thetubestore.com.

I would wait until you get the amp before you jump on buying tubes. Give yourself some time with it, then see what appeals or lacks and purchase tubes based on your ears. There are many fantastic descriptions of the synergy that certain tubes have with the Lyr here http://www.head-fi.org/t/549508/schiit-lyr-the-tube-rolling-thread. When you get your Schiit, feel free to PM me, I am just a novice that bought way too many tubes, but I may be able to help.

Thanks, I plan on waiting I'm just trying to get a feel. Also need to save a little more funding Lol

So the FedEx man showed up with my package today!!
Very impressed, quick enough shipping. Waiting on the UPS guy to show up know with my Sennheisers....

Should drive those AKG with punch. Just don't smoke them

It definitely did, they had a bit more kick it was nice. As for the 650's... It's up in the air as of now. A much more darker phone as I've heard, alot more bassy compared to the 701's.

From my experience, these cans need time. Give yourself some and enjoy the music.
