How come it lost the "il" from the center? Your original rendering was "detitlate."

Kind of spooky how quickly Google indexed that. Maybe your neighbors had something to do with this?

There are a lot of alternative British-Canadian/American spellings. Like favor and favour. Or president and prime minister. Or Billy Joel and kitsch.

Strangely my neighbours haven't been home for almost the entire day, as I don't see the van anywhere. It's a shame since they're so good with housework and carpentry, I wanted them to check up on a slight thumping and buzzing sound coming from the roof that's been persistent ever since this morning.

Very mysterious. You know, I'd almost say they're up to something, except that from what you've said they're probably perfectly normal people. With a van parked out front. And who wear dark suits and sunglasses. Everybody on my block does that. Perfectly normal. Yep.

Well not just dark suits. Various shades of dark. Navy dark, Turqoise dark. Napalm dark. They're really quite fashionable. And the sunglasses seem to be designer brands as well. I think the side logo says Wébcam. Must be one of them new-fangled french boutique brands.

And I imagine it must be as cold where you are as it is from where I am. Sometimes I can take a nice long walk out on the street and count dozens of people with dark suits on. Meanwhile I'm stuck with my khakis and my socks-n'-sandals and a weird buzz and beeping in my right ear. Sometimes I swear I can hear the local station tune in.

Yeah, it's pretty cold here. Everybody wears suits. I've noticed an unusual concentration of Google Glass users as well. I thought they tried to randomize the distribution on whom they let buy into the program, but apparently a lot of them live around me. And they stare at people sometimes when they're going by. They did it to me a few times. And when I walked by I could hear them muttering something. No idea what they said, though. They seem friendly enough, though. Whenever I catch them looking they usually smile and wave, and I wave back, and that's that.

Weird about the beeping, though. Come to think of it, I hear something like that sometimes, too. It comes from my headphones whenever I play them from my main source. Very faint. It's not like I do anything interesting using my headphones. I mean, occasionally I'll play a YouTube video if I was already listening to music and don't feel like unplugging the DAC and taking off the cans. But why would anybody be interested in what I watch on YouTube? I mean, it's not like there's this gigantic government agency that's collecting information about every single person in this country and many people in other countries. That'd be ridiculous.

A lot of those wavers huh. I guess people tend to act more friendly up in the more frigid places. I usually wave back as well. Although sometimes it gets awkward.

For example, last week this person in a suit was sitting at a bench, quite some distances away from me, his arm seemingly waving at first. Of course I naturally wave back, having encountered these sort of fellas on the regular.

But as I walk closer, I noticed that his hand was less of a wave, but gesturing towards more of a sign. I couldn't make out what it was. And then I hear footsteps in the snow behind me and, fair enough, another suited man was waving with the same hand gesture - they must have been gesturing towards each other the whole time. Of course I drop my arm down awkwardly.  Hate it when situations happen like that.

Strangely enough I had sworn I recognized that hand gesture from something I saw on TV the other day. And now that I bring up TV, lately we've been getting the strangest reception. During roughly the same time each night, the channel changes by itself, and nothing but static comes on. And of course some few choice words being cut out occasionally. Stuff like "obey" and "tracked". Must have been a hunting channel stuck playing.

Finally had enough and had my neighbour help with the satellite. But I told that story a few days ago anyways, so I'll spare you the details.

The beeping is weird. Now that you bring it up, I've been noticing the same thing going on. Not with my headphones mind you. My showerhead. Of course I do sing in there quite often so I guess the music thing we share in common. And those conspiracy theories creep me out. I can't imagine what sort of state of government would be willfully recording me in the shower and then using it to dub over reality show contestant's performances. That would be sick.

But luckily this is the land of the free and the syrup so I wouldn't have to worry about silly thoughts like that.

Well she got in trouble for chatting with this one group of guys, and they used Facebook, Google, and kik, so since I want to give her an old phone of mine (she had hers taken away) so we can still talk to each other, I don't really want her taking to those other people. (one was constantly asking for nudes, me and a friend sent in pedophile reports and he got all his stuff taken away. And the other hosted a porn site, which is why her mom got pissed for that (both things) . :/) but she'd start talking to them ASAP, hell, she started talking to them on my PC when she came over last. (facepalm)

Wow. How does she even know these people? Seems shady man just Shady.......

Tell her to use Kakaotalk because I highly suspect that none of these people are Asian.

Did you see the bitmessage post? I think you'd be better of going for an extremely obscure service rather than actual p2p. Bit more practical. Or just text. They have unlimited text where you are right? I couldn't live without unlimited text. How else could I contact my bottom bi-atches to pony up the dough before I make things rough for them when I'm restricted to 50 texts a day?

But seriously, getting out of the bad crowd, stuff like this would be happening less frequently.
I think I'll use Kakao, was gonna use bitmessage but I'd need a computer for each client and then design a gui for it, but she has access to nothing. :/ also, can you set android to boot into an app exclusively?

My question is the same question I ask my own kids (and rarely get an answer) when they do stupid, dangerous stuff: Why? Why is she fascinated by a bunch of low-life idiots? Tell her it doesn't make her cool - it makes her stupid, and you don't want to hang with stupid people - but at the same you are afraid for her, because her actions are self-destructive. Sometime I think it is a miracle that any teen makes it to be an adult. There are so many decisions made when you are teen that can have *significant* effect on the rest of your life - and yet that is often (not always) combined with a teen's sense of invulnerability, immortality and inability to think beyond immediate gratification. Nothing in life is irreversible - but there's always an easy way and a hard way to live your life - and it's not always easy for a teen to see how their decisions are going to make their life much, much harder.

And I was no better - it was a freaking miracle I made it through my teen years. In general, I was a smart & good kid - considered a "leader" in my community. If only they had known what I did after dark when I wasn't being a youth community leader...

Well she hates herself for it and almost killed herself the other day (I had to talk her out of it), but she'd still talk to them, but really she doesn't need the ability to do so, thus what I'm wanting. :/ it'd be only for me, a friend, and her.

I would say that in addition to your friendship, she needs professional help. Immediately.
I know, she's going to start going to a psychologist.
