There's a Razer mouse named like that. Razer seems to be fixated on snake names for their line of mice (there's an Orochi mouse too).

I did some searching around and it seems that there's no conflict since the products are in completely different categories (audio output device vs. computer input peripheral). I'm no legal expert so I'm not 100% sure.

It's a greek compound word, made of περί (perí) (around) and φωνή (phoné) (sound, voice).
That way, you can have the concept of an encompassing sound around your ears, while keeping the "-phone" ending familiar to headphone people, who could easily grab what that object is.
