Received my $100usd Zishan DSD 4497. Sound good so far using KZ zs6 (yes, the high is tamed). But the UI sucks big time. It took me hours of learn it.
Center key is select/play/pause.

Here is the confusing part..

While the song is playing.
Short press Right is next song
Long press Right is Fast Forward the song
Up key is volume adjustment menu, then use Up and Down keys.
Down key is (yike) 1 folder level up, then use Up and Down keys.
Short press Left, after 10 sec into the song, rewind the song to beginning.
Short press Left, before 10 sec into the song, 1 song back in the folder.
Long press Left, top level Menu (?)

Use any key to light up screen.

Long press middle key to turn on and off. (Not sure how you can confirm the unit is off)

A manual would be very helpful.

Got Zishan DSD AK4497 recently, but I encountered a few problems, please help me out if anybody knows about the background of these;

1. Sound output through 3.5mm is loud, but pops and hisses and it's really fatiguing to listen to.

2. 2.5mm output sound is less loud than 3.5mm, but distorts big time. Almost unusable levels of distortion.

I use Tin Audio T2 IEMs. Have both 2.5mm & 3.5mm cables.

What is the firmware version? Did you try with a different earphone? Did you try rotating the connector when plugged in to see a different? The outputs on this device are not great and the connection can be loose.

Firmware version is 0.4H
For 3.5mm I tried it with Soundmagic E10C, Urbanears Plattan Adv (wired). All exhibit the same result. It's not musical and feels like individual instruments and sounds amplified.
Yes I tried rotating the connectors, both at the respective jack ends as well as at earphone ends, but it doesn't make any difference.

I've received mine today, and discovered not the best impressions. Tried it with Momentum 2.0 wired and Audiotechnica MSR7. Felt even more distortion at high levels than on my smartphone :frowning2:
Same as you told that sound hisses and fatiguing especially on high levels. Listen most of all to rock/metal and after short time of listening started feeling some kind of fatigue from that sort of sound :frowning2: I can't tell that sound feels cheap, but can't tell that it is fully enjoyable...
