Hi guys,
Just ordered the Z3 with 4490.

Want to get the DSD also but need to know
which is best model for use with low z iem's.

Will do some modding on the Z3. (Caps, opamp rolling, etc....)

Appreciate any input on this.

That is pretty much what I deduced from reading most of
this thread unless I want to do extensive mods on the
4493/7/9 board, then still not optimum.

Trouble is ebay doesn't show DSD with 4490/95.

Got my ZS single ak4497eq yesterday and noticed that firmware was 0.4L . Thinking that it is newer then 0.4K, just letting you know.

There's a link in one of the messages, to a site that has Firmware versions up to 0.4K - but I don't see 0.4L there yet.
Note: They're in .rar format, so you'll need an unrar program.

"The manual and upgrade method please move: Hyperlink: https://pan.baidu.com/s/1vFVaDb6TuRP6JdYJD0xKfA
Extraction code: 0brr"

So that's the address where the Zishan DSDs AK4499 firmwares currently up to version 0.5b can be found - and the password to access it.
I think a Baidu membership is required to download them though.


Edit: Looks like Baidu membership requires a phone number from their rather limited list of countries. My country and three out of four closest countries are not on their list. Anyone care to download those and send me one 0.5B?

Edit 2: Baidu's list curiously has zero EU countries on it. Is it possible to order a prepaid sim card from USA, Russia or Switzerland?

So it works in the old versions too? Because they seem very different, before, zishan released 2 versions, one for there new dsds and one for the old dsd

So when you say it works in all, you mean all dsd's or all dsds's?

I checked on my old 4497 - everything works. I also returned firmware 0.4H - no problem.
