I have also purchased a HisoundAudio Nova N3. Hopefully the issues reported will be fixed in the next firmware release and that it will pair well with the Heir 4A.

Let your ears be the judge and order both op amps. I have the UHA-6S and I use both op amps. The amp is designed so that you can open it up and pop out the op amp and stick in another totally different op amp. It's rather nice because when I'm feeling bored I can roll a different op amp in and have a different sounding amp.

The Rendition 1 has three removeable op amps.... if you like toying with those

What are those rubber wrists included in the package?
What comply tips do you suggest for the heirs? Does the fit of a particular comply tip work on all heirs, or do I need a specific tip for each heir model?

Mine are out for delivery later this afternoon!

For those of you in the US, you can pay the brokerage by giving a call to UPS’s brokerage accounting at 1-866-493-7140. I think I just had to press 2 then 1. But this allows you to pay by credit card over the phone, which is handy if you’re like most people in the 21st century and don’t actually keep checks around.

Doug, I hope I am wrong... but when I had mine shipped to my USA destination (I am very close to the NY state border), I also wanted to call and pay the UPS accounting department and pick up my IEMS the same day from the depot. They told me it could take 24-48 hours before my payment was cleared and the driver or pickup depot would not release them if it had not been cleared. I ended up getting a US money order and paying directly at the pickup depot the same day as I got notifiication they arrived.

What if I write a check at the same time the driver arrive? Will the driver accept it and give me the package?

They told me the order would process later that day and that they would fax the shipping depot so they knew it was processed. So if there is a problem it's going to be on their end, not mine, and if that does happen I'm still taking my package.

They were happy to take a check when my 4.A's were delivered. I would have done that this time except the checks I ordered didn't arrive in time and my bank isn't a "local" one.
