Don't worry, once you get the feel for it, you can insert them without even thinking about it. My 8.A's go in and out just as fast as my 4.Ai - and faster than my Atrios did w. Shure Olives.

Would like to say thanks to everyone who chipped in!

Am I wearing them correctly now? It took quite abit of twisiting my ears and the CIEMs to get this, lol

Right

Sorry, but you still have not got the top portion tucked under the fold correctly.

The crown across the hood.....   That is really awesome

Thanks... still working on it.  Need to add some other stuff to it... and I'm going to actually add a pair of CIEMS on the hood too.  We'll see how it goes.

      Slight correction:

The "old style" UE cables used specifically for their Custom IEM products can be used with Heir Audio products. UE non custom cables used for the TF10 should not be used as they do differ in dimensions.

Cables from Westone, JH Audio, 1964 Ears etc all can be used with Heir Audio Products.

Wizard

Okay, that is useful.

So either of these would work since I am reduced to hacking apart a cable from a cheap iPhone compatible headset to get this functionality?

I had a similar insertion issue when I first got my 8'A's:

Notice how the shell is pushing against the fold instead of tugging in behind it. Result: Improper seal and poor comfort.

And this is how it's supposed to be - and how the just seem to slide in, now that I've gotten used to it

It would probably fit in my ear.

Feels pretty much perfect now, the seal is pretty 'locked in' so to speak. I've had them on for about 15 minutes and they've pretty much melted into my ears. Only issue I foresee is getting back the seal next time round as it took close to 20 minutes of twisting and tugging on my ears to get the 'hump' under the flap. Hmmm...

Don't worry, Sorensiim is right:

You mentioned about a 'two twist' method you used, could you elaborate on this?

One twist backward to easily insert the sound tube (like on the video I linked you to), then one twist forward to slide the part that goes under the skin flap ... under the skin flap.

The front end looks way tight.  (my vote, if I get one, skip the CIEM image)  Some things just don't flow, like an open container of Carmex lip balm wouldn't flow on a car sponsored by Carmex.

That asside, I do have a Vinyl Cutter that is big enough to cut "Heir Audio" and the crown on the side quarter pannel.   Let me know if you want it done, I can do it in red, blue, white, black, chrome silver, gold chrome.

(but shipping would be your burden, sorry to burst your bubble)

Maybe your right... CIEMS kinda muck it up a little... I'll have to slap the logo on my Corvette ZR1... seeing that is what I race with normally anyway.

If I were still auto crossing... I'd probably toss it on my car...  but now I'm an old married fool... so most of that speed stuff has to be digital for me.

Is it in-game options for slapping those decals or you got the models exported to some rendering program ?

....Updated....

I'll add a cable and a plug at some point... but not now... eyes have gone cross....

For a full minute I thought that was a real car...I was wondering why you would choose to live in Waterbury if you can afford an STS-V (or whatever it is)...(Edit: I'm originally from CT and my brother used to work in the Waterbury school system - I got the impression that it was a bit rough).

I actually live right near the college and Chase Collegiate school... which is crazy money  ($32k a yr tuition).  So not all parts of the city are bad... just most.  I'm just lucky to live in one of the nicest parts.  FYI:  I can't afford a CTS-V and continue to live comfortably... they're $64k base price (don't even want to know about insurance).  That's 2 years of high school that my kids would have to forgo  (just kidding, they're going to Catholic School).  I agree though, the public school system here is riddled with kids that don't want to attend and parent's that just use it as a daycare and don't really care about their child's education.  Very sad IMHO... How are they EVER going to afford the Heir Audio 10.A when those come out without a good education?

In game, you have to assemble everything by hand from random shapes.

Check here if you want to see real artists make some incredible are for the game.  It's what got me to sell my PS3 and go to the Xbox.

got the magnus-1 cable off a local retailer - and boy does it fit the 4.A's like a glove. Physically and sonically. The old stock cable and the westone replacement cable can't hold the 4.A proper
