We do not have a local US distributor at the moment. Elise Audio will cover our US customers.

Everyone have a nice day enjoying music and great taste.
Nice setup, but now you made me crave some egg tarts :joy: .

We dont bake egg tarts at our office, a local bakery in the neighborhoods would help you with that. We highly recommend it, especially around 1500 hrs after sitting at the desk for a long day.

But if you want any quality listening experience we might be able to help.

Lord Stow's? When I think of egg tarts in both HK and Macau, that's what first comes to mind :).

Speaking of distributors, is it accurate to say that your distributors in Southeast Asia are Zepp and Stars Picker? I'm planning to get the Noah (or whatever the prototype) was called. Those who tried my Moses here in the Philippines are also interested in the Noah as I described it to them as a sorta baby Moses with its own spices.

I am delighted to hear that you and your friends enjoy the Moses. Yup we have the Noah coming in months and it will be very very friendly to the community.

You are correct Zeppelin and Co, and Stars Picker is our Authorized dealer. They will cover the community in the South East Asia area.

The best was (paraphrased) "For the longest time, I wondered how summit-fi sets justify themselves. This is one of the few sets that justified the price tier."

My compliment to @toranku ; @Chang and the Subtonic team for the epitome of unboxing experiences.

In context, I remember unboxing TrailiiJP ... in it's small brown cardboard box, a single sticker and a Van Nuys case inside.

A solid aluminium briefcase. Inside is a modular DAP storage case with button closure and slide-out case for tips. A metallic warranty card, canvas strap for the modular DAP/storage case and we have a very well thought out, quality package.

I haven't pictured the Todah Storm leather case, which is of a very high quality leather. Whilst I'd love for Subtonic to collaborate with Hermes ... can you imagine Storm, Hermes Edition?

The clasp on the tips case perhaps could do with minor refinement and adjustment to make it easier un-clasp and slide out. I'm not fussed by minor scratches.

All in all, very impressed !!!

DX1 - Looks to be priced at $159 US on Amazon. It releases in Asia April 25. Somehow I was offered and snagged a set at $119 on Amazon. Hope it ships soon as I'm looking forward to adding this 'profile' to my choices. Will be interesting how they handle or absorb the tariffs.
Nice catch on that early deal! $119 for the DX1 sounds like a good haircut on the price, especially if it holds up to the hype. Fingers crossed shipping goes smoothly and tariffs don’t sneak up on it. Keep us posted once it lands!

Glad you enjoyed the unboxing experience - we worked really hard on it! The clasp is actually made of brass, so it actually scratches quite easily. We will most likely remove the clasp in the future all together. Thank you so much for your support.

We do plan to offer custom-made exotic leather pouches in the future ;)

So about Hermes Mysore Chevre leather ... they do some fantastic colours ... ;)

Have always been very impressed with Subtonic and my interactions with the team. Hope to meet some of you at a future CJ or next time I travel to Singapore.

Im late to the party, but the party going strong.

Since a week or 2 I have the bird. At first coming from the apx se, they did not wow me. Even a little boring.

Now 2 weeks later, with the right chain, they are amazing. I can hear why so many love them.
From the sp3000 I find them to be to polite and lack “soul”. But from the Paw6000 they are killer.

Chain:
Macbook -> Paw6000 -> dCS Lina -> Orpheus -> Traillii

(On full chain dCS they are wild as well, somehow sp3000 does not work wel with the bird for me, yes paw6000 is amazing)IMG_1327.jpeg

Absolutely loving my PAW6000 but will still part with it in favour of an R2R source. Reading that it can outclass SP3000 depending on the chain comes as a surprise for me though. But then again, 6000 is twice 3000.

Maybe the sp3000 is to “perfect” for the traillii to my liking. Its to smooth, is somewhat lacking dynamics.

But when combined with the apx se, its amazing

I haven't had a chance to tabulate the survey results yet, so for the time being it's still open for any last minute shoppers out there.

If only I can change my choice then I will include this blue IEM. Just received it last week. Definitely gave me a big shock how good the sound from Steranko 40. It excels in provide lifelike and organic vocality, close to neutral tonality with a hint of extra midrange presence and sweetness in each notes with really expansive soundstage.
