Need to place this limit on myself too but can't help it for Fugaku.

Fugaku will always be a staple in my rotation, but I still love experimenting with different setups especially when friends lend me something interesting and I start poisoning myself. Case in point: the setup in the frame below: Anni23 + Effect Beyond (Dio wanna be), paired with a unnamed Nanotec IC (surprisingly good might get it) through my Tsu OE. Anni and the cables are lended from my friends. As you can see I still very much enjoyed the gear rolling experience which is not healthy for the wallet. But at the end of the day, I just want to enjoy my music. 😇

Anyway really excited on PMG apx V3 (will stop calling it the apx mini). My wish for it would be give some more space and a touch warmer but keeping all that juicy technicalities.

Also another challenger has arrived and coming for CanJam SG 🥳 and I’m quite stoked because it’s coming from my home country Indonesia.

Now this was a fun little set up to bump Anni 21 with 😋 don’t always need a 3k-5k$ rig to enjoy your favorite Iems ❤️🎶

Awesome write-up! Amber Pearl is experiencing quite the resurgence indeed! Now my only IEM
+1 for the Amber Pearl. To me it's like adding a totl tube amp in the chain - warm, great decay, but no loss in resolution or imaging or staging, just analogue goodness...

I discovered ‘sport mode’ again - fun but heavy on fuel 😜

Ah very cool you got a set! I hope I haven't 'over-hyped' it, ha ha. Mine is currently out on loan w/ a friend to get a sense for what the MG800 can do. Make sure to run through tip options to get the most sense of resolution/ layering, and spacious presentation out of it. I find Eletech Baroque to noticeably help open up the sound. But I'm sure you have tons of options on hand there that work for you! Enjoy! Look forward to your thoughts.

I have the MG800 on my demo list because of earlier great reviews but I only see now its shape more or less resembles Perpetua, which didn't find support in my ears at al, because of its roundness. Would this be similar?

And the new flagship is already mentioned
Can't wait for the battle between 2 heavyweight Single DD flagships: Dita Ventura vs Final A10000 :fire:

I suppose it could be... Maybe the really small size could help out though? Hard to say. I find that with carefully chosen tips, they remain secure in my ears very well, and are so light that I completely forget they're in sometimes, if it were not for the huge soundscape filling my brain.

I've been going around the audio stores in Singapore to get some eartime on sets which I expect would have a considerable queue come Canjam weekend. So far, what stood out to me (or rather, outright floored me) was the Moses that Zepp had on hand. After A:Bing it with the Anni 2023 they had on hand, and the GM in my rotation, I find that it melds together what I like about both IEMs (the GM's meaty low-end and arguably mids, and the Annis near limitless treble extension) in an arguably better-built (all-metal build after all) and better-fitting package. I see myself parting the red sea of music if there's ready stock this weekend.

[I demoed it for a good 1 hr 30 mins. I never took that long until earlier. Some pairs that I dislike don't even last a couple minutes.]

Ngl, since the release of Supernova, I've always wanted to hear more about their newest invention. I do know that Asteria had gone through a lot of iterations, so hearing this final form will be interesting. Also, very beautiful faceplate tho.
