Hey Watercooler fam! I know some of you enjoy my year end music lists. So I thought I would include my Bandcamp music library page to my signature if any of you want to dig in.

The Campfire Audio Clara is an extraordinary IEM. Rarely do you find an IEM that does bass so well that could well satisfy an "audiophile basshead" while really not coming off as a basshead IEM at all because of its clarity, just a beautifully rendered treble, all the while maintaining note weight and a sense of warmth. I do suspect my WM1ZM2 does a fair bit to aid with the warmth but this could well be the one-and-done for many.
I am spending less time with IEMs nowadays but that will likely change as I make walks a more regular part of my schedule. Looking for an ideal and hopefully, aesthetically pleasing, fitness tracker.

I really liked it. Through that Ari amp that @dleblanc343 sent me it was spellbinding. Planar IEMs scale like nothing else. Probably the most effortlessly resolving IEM I've ever heard. Vocals are perhaps pushed further back in the mix than I like. Timbre was quite nice-- it didn't have that overly crisp timbre that Supermoon has up top from time to time.
On the whole I didn't spend tons of time with it though as I was really fixated on Clara the past few weeks.
The other IEM that really grabbed my attention was the Fathom. It's overall a really solid and fun IEM that's also decently technical. A great $1k option. Bass is quite nice for a BA also.

the possibility that a human being can make all their decisions in life without ever regretting one of them, well, THAT we know well enough to be impossible
That would indeed be impossible .. even in business decision making there is no analysis that can actually take in account of all possible moving variables and unknowns-unknowns ... adding decision biases of whoever is taking/influencing the decision to the mix seems like that we are lucky in having decision that we would not end up regretting at one point or another ..
Philosophy has long been a passionate interest of mine. (It was actually my major back in university. )
I put the word "philosphical discussion" in the thread title because for many of us our most deeply held and foundational beliefs are intertwined with how we approach, understand & enjoy this hobby we are so passionate about.
The Astrolith is an allrounder as well as a keeper in my book. If Ihad not gotten the Maven II it would be my topdog. Well with some stuff it is. Depends on which timbre of the two suits the music or my mood better.
Totally agree with Jeff that it is highly resolving yet unobtrusive and a tad on the polite side but with great bass. Very listenable even in longer sessions.
What makes it outstanding though is the very clear, fast and airy presentation with a large soundstage. Fed with the right stuff it is just a fantastic sounding IEM...
Finished my last night with the following (amazing) album and it was pure bliss
